The Comp Master™ advance assembly kit is made from a high grade stainless steel so it won't rust. The weights are completely saturated with a specially formulated polymer coating that protects it from heat saturation, reduces friction, strengthens the component and makes it more efficient. The kit includes the center bolt. The Comp Master™ advance unit was created to not only upgrade a points style ignition, but also to enhance the early electronic ignitions and to convert electronic ignitions back to the simplicity of a points ignition.
